PhillyPatientRide is an initiative in Philadelphia that provides transportation to cancer patients in treatment using volunteer drivers and PhillyCarShare vehicles. Transportation is often a major hurdle to patients – family members are often unable to adjust work schedules, shared ride programs can be inconvenient, and other transportation options can be costly.
